While we have tried to make the CMM 3.0 model as error-free as possible, no doubt issues and problems remain. To provide a central location for reporting problems, cures, questions, and comments, we have set up an archived email list through USC's installation of the Listproc software. Messages to the list should be sent to
sceccmm-l@usc.edu
(All USC listproc email lists end with a -l (dash l), such as sceccmm-l@usc.edu, to indicate a mailing list.)
Before sending a message, especially about a problem, please look at the archive_of_previous_messages to see if it has already been reported.
To post a message to this list, you must first be subscribed to it, and must send your post from the address you used to subscribe (see instructions below).
To subscribe to the list, you use the USC listproc subscription process. Send an email to listproc@usc.edu, with a blank subject line, and in the body of the mail write:
subscribe sceccmm-l your-name
where you should replace your-name with your real name; listproc gets your e-mail address out of the From: header of your message. For example, if your name is Alfred Wegener you would subscribe to the CMM list by sending mail with the single line
subscribe sceccmm-l Alfred Wegener
as the body of an e-mail message to listproc@usc.edu. Do NOT send this message to the actual CMM mail list.
To unsubscribe, send an email to listproc@usc.edu with the following text in the body of the email. Do NOT send this message to the actual CMM mail list.
unsubscribe sceccmm-l
The most common problems with subscribing and unsubscribing to Listproc mailing lists are related to where you send the subscribe and unsubscribe requests. Users frequently send the subscribe and unsubscribe messages to the mailing list itself. So remember:
